It is the aim of all test and certification procedures to ensure the interoperability of DTMs and frame applications. The interaction can only work if compliance with the FDT specification can be ensured. To this end the FDT Group has established a “test and certification” quality assurance system.   The certificate is the official acknowledgement for the conformance to the FDT specification and thus an important mark of quality in the market.

Users will minimize their implementation effort at start up and during operations, because the certification process ensures compliance of the frame application and the DTMs with the FDT specification. This saves time and money.
